Parador Lumiar is located 160 km from the city of Rio de Janeiro, in one of the most beautiful valleys in the mountainous region of the state and within the Macaé de Cima Environmental Protection Area. It encompasses approximately 440,000 m² of area in the heart of the Atlantic Forest, at an altitude of 850 meters and just five kilometers from Lumiar, a district of the municipality of Nova Friburgo. Completing the scenery are crystal-clear streams and a vast leisure infrastructure, including a natural water pool, waterfalls, dry and steam saunas, an orchid garden, horseback riding, ecological trails, an organic garden, and relaxing and therapeutic massages. The hotel also has its own barbecue area, next to the soccer field and facing the river. Parador Lumiar is the only hotel in the Friburgo mountains to have been a member of the highly selective Roteiros de Charme Hotel Association since 2012. The symbol, a lantern, speaks volumes about how the inn welcomes its guests.
