Casa Antúrio: Perfect for Long Stays

• Highlight: The most spacious and completely illuminated with huge glass walls overlooking the native forest and wooded garden, including practical features such as a planned closet, an indoor fireplace, two 50” smart TVs and an Alexa.

• Structure: It offers a private furnished deck integrated into the garden and a wooded terrace with a hammock and a large comfortable armchair perfect for reading while contemplating Nature. Going by rental car or your own is the best choice for this itinerary. The dynamics of the region change completely when you have autonomy, as Villa Barriguda is strategically located on the BR-242 highway, a 10-minute drive from Morro do Pai Inácio, allowing you to access the main attractions of the region without depending on agency schedules.

It's the biggest classic of Chapada. As it's very close, you can plan to go up in the late afternoon and watch the most famous sunset in Bahia. 1. Without the rush of taking long drives back at night.

2. Águas Claras Waterfall and Morrão:

Morrão is one of the imposing visible rock formations in the region. You can drive to the start of the trail and walk just 1 km on flat terrain to the beautiful Águas Claras Waterfall, which has delightful and crystal-clear pools for swimming, with Morrão framing the scenery.

3. Pratinha Cave and Blue Cave:

Located in the neighboring municipality of Iraquara (but easily accessible from Palmeiras), they are famous for their intensely blue and transparent waters. There you can float in the cave, zip-line, and take surreal underwater photos.
