• ROAD AND ACCESS TO THE CHALET
The roads leading to the chalet are 100% paved if you are coming via the Presidente Dutra Highway. The chalet is located in the village of Campo Alegre, 7 km from the center of Visconde de Mauá, with beautiful scenery and excellent access, making 4x4 vehicles unnecessary. Another important tip is to remember to fill up your car before going up the mountain, as the only gas station in the region is 15 km from the chalet.

We do not offer breakfast service, but we have all the utensils for you to prepare a delicious brunch during your stay.
• ABOUT THE REGION
The Visconde de Mauá region has several villages with waterfalls and leisure options. Pedra Selada is our postcard image, and access to the trail is 2 km from Quinta dos Montes. Venture also to our main waterfalls: Escorrega, Santa Clara, Antas, Poção do 7 metros and the Alcantilado Park, in addition to the ATV, tubing and horseback riding tours that you can rent in the center. Another treasure of our region is the gastronomy, with trout being our main regional dish and also the pine nut, which has its moment of prominence in mid-May with dishes, drinks, sweets and the much-anticipated pine nut festival. The Tia Sofia gastronomic promenade is one of the best places to enjoy exceptional cuisine in a romantic setting and take incredible photos.
